The visiting hours of Lake Granbury Medical Center are "open" with the following guidelines:
Visitors are discouraged before 8am and after 9pm.
- According to Public Health Code Restrictions, “No visitor shall be admitted who has a known infectious disease, who recently recovered from such a disease, or who recently had contact with such a disease.”
- No more than 2 visitors per patient unless approved by staff. Children may visit at the discretion of the Charge Nurse/Team Leader.
ICU Visitation
Visitors are restricted between 6-8 am and 6-8 pm. Children under 12 are not permitted except under special approval of the ICU Charge Nurse/Team Leader.
Women’s Services Visitation
Family members/coaches may remain with the patient during delivery with the permission of the physician. One person may stay overnight if the patient desires. No children may visit the baby if they have had a fever, cold, or have recently been exposed to a communicable disease.
Nursery Visitation
Parents may visit anytime if wearing the proper identification bands. Grandparents may be allowed when accompanied by a parent wearing the proper identification band.
Special care areas will further limit visitation when necessary, according to the specific patient needs.
