Our Generous Volunteers...

The strength of our country lies in the hearts and souls of our citizens.

Across the U.S., citizens donate their time and talents to improving lives and strengthening communities. At Lake Granbury Medical Center, we appreciate the Lake Granbury Auxiliary Volunteers and celebrate all those who dedicate their time to helping others.

The purpose of the Lake Granbury Medical Center Auxiliary is to provide assistance with educational programs, scholarships, and non-revenue producing items at the medical center for the benefit of patients, families and the community at large.

What does a volunteer do? Our volunteers:

  • Run errands for patients, nurses and families
  • Interact with patients and families
  • Assist nurses with paper work or answering call signals
  • Deliver mail and flowers
  • Work in the gift shop
  • Create flower arrangements
  • Assist in registration and surgery waiting areas
  • Work in the chapel assisting Chaplains
  • Help in fund-raising projects, blood drives and/or health fairs

LGMC is very grateful to our Auxiliary Members. On average, they provide over 1500 hours of service per month.

You can join in and enjoy being part of a vital, busy organization. Just drop by the Gift Shop to pick up an application or print off from the link below. Get ready to meet new friends and support your community. Dues are just $5.
