Diagnostic Imaging Services
Diagnostic Imaging Services provides multi-modality imaging services to inpatient, outpatient, operating room and emergency room patients.
Most diagnostic imaging services are provided within the main department, located on the first floor of Lake Granbury Medical Center. Routine radiography and ultrasound procedures are provided at Lake Granbury Testing and Diagnostic Center in the Medical Office Building at 1308 Paluxy Road in Suite 202, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
Mammography services are provided at the Lake Granbury Women's Imaging Center, also located in Suite 202 in the Medical Office Building. Portable x-ray and fluoroscopy services may be provided in all nursing units.
The Department provides diagnostic imaging services 24-hours a day, 7-days a week to all age groups.
Services include:
- Routine diagnostic radiography including fluoroscopy and tomography
- Special procedures to include fine needle aspirations, biopsies and drainages
- Computerized Tomography (CT Scans)
- Ultrasonography
- Nuclear Medicine
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Mammography
- Bone Densitometry
- Echo/Vascular Ultrasound
All imaging studies are performed under the direct supervision of a board-certified radiologist.
