The Blue Crew
At Lake Granbury Medical Center (LGMC), our commitment to the communities we serve is at the core of everything we do. We believe in creating great places for people to work, healthcare providers to practice medicine, and patients to receive care. The Blue Crew, our employee volunteer program, is designed to inspire LGMC employees to make a positive impact on the communities we serve through volunteerism.The program is a key component of both our community outreach and employee engagement programs.
How to submit a Blue Crew request:
- Review our criteria below
- Submit your request via email or mail
- If submitting via email, include “Blue Crew request” in subject line
All requests must include the following criteria:
- Your organization’s mission statement
- Summary of your event, including estimated attendance
- Description of your audience
- Shift information (dates, start and end times – we recommend two to four hour intervals)
- Location where volunteers report the day of event
- If possible, include event promo items such as flyers, posters, website address, etc.
- Deadline for volunteer registration
- Contact information for person submitting request
- Contact information for person onsite the day of event
We ask that Blue Crew requests directly benefit the geographic area we serve and are consistent with our mission, vision, and values. Please submit your request in writing. Requests must be received at minimum 30 days prior to your volunteer registration deadline. Requests that are not received 30 days prior to your deadline risk being excluded from consideration. Official notification of approval will come in the form of an email. Unless otherwise specified, our volunteers will arrive dressed in jeans and a LGMC t-shirt.
We strive to support as many initiatives as possible, and we regret that we cannot accommodate all requests.
